Thank you for serving as a small group leader! Because of you, these kiddos get the opportunity to learn about who Jesus is and how they ca live an EPIC life for Him!
VOLUNTEER INFO
WHERE TO GO
When you arrive at 8:30AM each day, please go to the Student Center, located on the west side of campus. There you will be given your nametag and directed to your homeroom.
POINT OF CONTACT
Our VBS Elementary Coordinator, Geri Weaver, will be your point of contact for anything you need. Here is her phone number to program in your phone incase you need it.

END OF DAY
Children should be picked up by parents around 12pm. When all the children are picked up, you are free to leave!
DAILY SCHEDULE
DROP OFF & CRAFTS (9:00AM-9:30AM)
Teachers are to place each child’s ‘teacher tag’ in their book as a child is dropped off. Help children work on their daily craft at the table. Use this time to get to know the kids in your small group.
THE SHOW (9:30AM-10:30AM)
Go to the MAIN AUDITORIUM and sit in the square assigned to your grade number. Stay with your children throughout the ‘Show’ where there will be biblical skits, worship, games, and more! If a child needs to use the restroom during the show, you can instruct them to exit to through the east doors to find the restroom in the lobby. Bathroom attendants will be present in the lobby to ensure they get to and from the auditorium safely.
SNACK/games (10:30AM-11:30AM)
1-3RD GRADE:
10:30AM-11:00AM = GAMES. Go to the STUDENT CENTER, where the games volunteers will lead the group through biblically integrated games.
11:00AM-11:30AM = SNACK. Go to the CAFE, where the snack volunteers will serve the children snack and water.
4-6TH GRADE:
10:30AM-11:00AM = SNACK. Go to the CAFE, where the snack volunteers will serve the children snack and water.
11:00AM-11:30AM = GAMES. Go to the STUDENT CENTER, where the games volunteers will lead the group through biblically integrated games.
SMALL GROUPS (11:30am-12:00pm)
Return to your HOMEROOM and lead your small group through a time of discussion and reflection over what they learned that day. Daily Small Group Guides can be found below.
CHILD PICK-UP (12:00pm)
The parents will pick up their child at your HOMEROOM. For an adult to pick up a child, they MUST have the pick up tag that has a matching code to the child’s name tag. If the adult does not have a pick up tag, alert staff.

CHILD DROP OFF
When a child is dropped off by their parent/guardian, the parent will have 3 tags:
Parent Tag: they keep this to pick up their child
Child Tag: Child wears this
Teacher Tag: You put this in your book
STAY TOGETHER
You are the shepherd of your flock. Keep your group together at all time. No sheep are allowed to wander from the group.
BATHROOM POLICY
Adults can never be in a restroom with a child. If you need to go into a restroom with a child, ask another adult to come with you. See map for bathroom locations.
FOOD ALLERGIES
All provided snacks are gluten, dairy, and nut free. If a child has allergies outside of these, they were told to bring their own snack. These self-provided snacks will be with the snack volunteers in the kitchen.

Every injury must be reported to staff.
