During each month’s After Party, parents are invited to a Parent Party for them, in which you will
receive important updates for the ministry, hear from different speakers, and learn biblical principles about parenting.

Talking with Teens: How to Listen So Your Kids Will Talk
Come join us for a special parent seminar, led by Kristi Garrison, author of "Mending the Soul: Student Edition" as she speaks on "Talking with Teens: How to Listen So Your Kids Will Talk." She will be discussing topics that help to explain the things your kids do and why they do them.
Kristi is the founder of Karis Student Resources ministry, an organization that has been created to provide a place for adults to find resources on how to respond to and help hurting teenagers. Kristi's expertise has been requested throughout the valley by youth leaders, teachers, and administrators in the education sector, but she's now giving us the opportunity to experience her sought after wisdom and insight. Kristi is an amazing teacher, speaker, and author and you don't want to miss out on this incredible opportunity!

The seminar will be on March 18th, from 12:30-2:30pm in the Orange Room (between Room 101 and the Elementary room). Your kids can attend the Student Ministries After Party at the same time. This is reserved for grades 6th-12th and it will be in the Student Ministries room during the parent meeting.
