[mission] Venue - Alternative Service

Creativity. Connection. Relevance. Change...

[mission] is a group that meets regularly (contact Bryce Zillweger for the summer schedule - ) and is the college & young adults ministry at New Life. [mission] is part alternative service and essentially all about creating a community that discusses issues of social/spiritual/cultural/emotional/global importance. We do this through hanging out, interacting, showcasing art, listening, (a fair amount of eating), and more!

We've been able to see and experience some incredible things over these last few years, from a TON of cool indie musicians (in an intimate café setting) to incredible painters, photographers, speakers and ministries. We've been able to help people we might never see, like when we wrapped almost 60 presents for an orphanage in Myanmar (for children who had never had a gift before), bagged groceries to help feed those in need and so much more. At the heart of [mission] is a continuing goal to be what God created us to be... truly Human.

It's a casual group with lofty goals: to show creativity, to provide connection (not just within the group but to the world), to show the relevancy of Christ to a removed culture, and in doing so, to see change.
