Worship Ministry

New Life has a thriving worship ministry with a group of incredibly dedicated leaders. With different styles and multiple venues to choose from, there is something for everyone to connect with.

We believe that worship is not just singing songs but is a spiritual lifestyle. There are many expressions of that worship and music is one of them that we are very passionate about. Through our times together, we sing songs that express our thankfulness, praise and worship of our God. There are many opportunities to be a part of the team of musicians in one of the many venues here on campus. Resident Worship Artists and Leaders:

Get to know a few of our team members, what they do and where they serve in the community here at New Life!

	Heath Michael Bottomly  |  MOTION Team Pastor Heath serves as the Creative Arts and Worship Pastor at New Life and gives direction to the MOTION Team. He has worked over the last 16 years in team ministry, music business, recording, design and marketing. He has released 8 recording projects and through the indie record label, MakeShift Records, has produced over a dozen recording artist projects. As co-owner of HEATHROWE Studios and co-founder of the national music showcase, IGNITION, he maintains a strong network in the music industry. Heath leads worship on rotation in different venues on campus.
	Brad Reese  |  Associate Worship Leader Brad has spent the last few years as the frontman for the band, "Burnin Phoenix", and integrating himself into the local music community. He recently has begun a solo endeavor and has begun recording a brand new self-titled project. As an Associate Worship Leader at New Life, Brad is a gifted musician, teacher and leads in several of the venues on campus. He also is actively involved in overseas music missions with Next Generation Mission, especially in areas of Europe and in third world countries like Jamaica.
	Sean Brainard  |  Associate Worship Leader Sean has grown up in music and spent many years traveling and performing. As part of the New Life team, Sean has brought his unique leadership to the music ministry. He is constantly recruiting new musicians and singers for our multiple teams and consistently going above-and-beyond in elevating the ministry in our community. He serves on the MOTION Team as an Associate Worship Leader and is a key leader for several venues.
	Shari Rowe  |  Resident Artist As a recording artist and singer/songwriter for many years, Shari has traveled across the nation and overseas as she has performed for conferences, churches, national events and in venues of all sizes. She has released several projects and is currently releasing a solo country project (slated for 2012). As a Resident Artist at New Life, Shari and her husband, Kevin, are both key leaders on the MOTION Team and serve in many areas, as well as leading on rotation for the weekend services.
	Jon Montoya  |  Worship Intern & Jr High Worship Jon is a talented musician that plays multiple instruments in many genres. He has also been a visible player in the local music scene with several popular indie bands. He is a strong addition to the MOTION Team and strives to use his talent to grow the worship culture at New Life. Although he plays in multiple venues, he is usually seen playing drums for our weekend services and also leading worship for our Student Ministries Jr High "Revolve" services.
	Bryce Zillweger  |  Worship Intern Bryce is a talented singer/songwriter who has a strong heart for ministry and worship. He is currently a part of our MOTION Team Internship program and handles a select number of the administrative responsibilities for the team. He is also a growing worship leader that rotates through several of the venues on campus, developing his leadership and using his talents to glorify God.
	Amy Gibson  |  Video Café Team Amy is a valuable team member in the Video Café, and serves in assisting the worship ministry in many areas. She lends her vocals to the rotation of teams in the Café and provides leadership by volunteering to handle miscellaneous responsibilities for the ministry.
